1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of the PZ Brickwork website and, where relevant, to enquiries, quotations, bookings and brickwork services provided by PZ Brickwork.
If a separate written quotation, invoice, project specification or other written agreement is provided for a particular job, that document may include additional details specific to that work.
2. Website use
This website is provided for general information about our services. While reasonable care is taken to keep content accurate and up to date, information on the site is for general guidance only and should not be treated as a guarantee that every service, price, timeframe or availability shown will apply in every case.
You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation or use the content for unlawful purposes.
3. Enquiries and quotations
Any quote provided by PZ Brickwork is based on the information available at the time, including details given by the customer and any site conditions known at that point.
Unless otherwise stated in writing:
- quotes are provided without obligation;
- quotes may be subject to change if the scope of work changes;
- quotes may need to be revised if additional labour, materials or unforeseen work becomes necessary; and
- any start date given is an estimate rather than a guaranteed fixed date.
4. Scope of work
Work will be carried out based on the agreed quote, discussion and any written confirmation provided. If the customer asks for extra work, design changes or additional materials after the quote has been agreed, this may result in an adjusted price and/or revised timeframe.
Any additional work should ideally be agreed in writing before it is carried out.
5. Customer responsibilities
To help work proceed properly, the customer is responsible for providing accurate information about the project and ensuring reasonable site access where applicable.
Depending on the nature of the work, this may include:
- making sure access to the work area is available at agreed times;
- moving or protecting items near the work area where appropriate;
- informing us of any known issues affecting the job; and
- making sure permissions, approvals or third-party consents are in place where they are the customer’s responsibility.
6. Materials and variations
Where materials are included in the quoted work, reasonable efforts will be made to match the agreed specification. However, supply availability, batch variation, existing brick tone differences and manufacturer changes can affect the exact appearance of materials.
If a product becomes unavailable or unsuitable, we may propose a reasonable alternative and discuss any pricing impact before proceeding where practical.
7. Timing and delays
Any timeframe or start date provided is an estimate only unless expressly confirmed otherwise in writing.
Delays may arise due to weather, site conditions, access issues, material supply issues, customer-requested changes, illness, emergencies or other factors outside reasonable control. Where possible, we will communicate delays and revised expectations as soon as reasonably practicable.
8. Payment terms
Payment terms may vary depending on the size and nature of the job and will usually be confirmed in the quote, invoice or other written agreement.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- payment is due in line with the invoice issued;
- where a deposit, staged payment or advance material payment is agreed, it must be paid before the relevant stage begins;
- final balances are payable once the agreed work has been completed or the relevant stage has been completed; and
- late payment may result in delays to scheduling, further work or release of future booking dates.
9. Cancellations and postponements
If you need to cancel or postpone planned work, please let us know as soon as possible.
Where materials have already been ordered, time has been specifically reserved or work has already started, reasonable costs already incurred may still be payable, subject always to any rights you may have under applicable law.
If PZ Brickwork needs to reschedule due to weather, safety concerns, illness or circumstances outside reasonable control, we will aim to rearrange the work within a reasonable time.
10. Quality and defects
We aim to carry out all work with reasonable care and skill and to a professional standard appropriate to the nature of the job.
If you believe there is an issue with completed work, please notify us within a reasonable time and provide sufficient detail so that the concern can be reviewed properly. Where an issue is found to arise from our workmanship, we will discuss reasonable remedial steps.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any rights that cannot legally be restricted under consumer law.
Subject to that, PZ Brickwork will not be responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, for indirect or consequential losses, or for issues arising from inaccurate information provided by the customer, hidden defects, third-party work, structural issues outside the agreed scope, or circumstances outside reasonable control.
12. Consumer rights
If you are dealing with PZ Brickwork as a consumer, nothing in these terms is intended to remove or reduce any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
13. Intellectual property and website content

14. Third-party links
This website may include links to third-party websites or platforms. These are provided for convenience only. PZ Brickwork is not responsible for the content, availability or policies of third-party websites.
15. Privacy
Personal data submitted through the website or during the course of an enquiry or booking will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
